What size tile did you set?

Any glass tile?

12x24, 24x24, 6" hex, 2.5x9. No glass. But it seems to have a hell of a strong bond. I'd think it'd work good with glass.

 

I had a spacer fall out on the 2.5x9 wall tile and I had to demo my own work after a couple days of setting. It took some doing to break it apart. Over kerdi.

I think that was the thinset they gave me for free as a promo back in August. I thought it was good to work with, I used it for ditra

 

My tile supplier changed thinsets, yet again. Now they have Ardex. Used Ardex X5 today. They claim Ardex will honor Schluters warranty. It's easier to use than schluter all set.

 

I wish I could get Ardex easily.

 

I picked up the All-Set today. I'll see how it works.

I like Mapie products, can't get them around here anymore.

There is personally no comparison to the Allset mixture hands down. The untire system as a hole is A one in my book. My vender has asked me for 7 years to try it. I kick my self everyday for trying it way back then. I do a ton of tile jobs. Most of the time two to three at the same time. When the Allset is mixed at it's specified way, you can hang 24x24 from the ceiling without thinking twice about it following. I've tried a many. My opinion, there is no comparison.
