I’m partial to the Johnson brand.

 

I simply love the Sola's, but that's not to say anything bad about Johnson levels...I tend to be an elitist on some things, and the fact that Johnson mades a low-end level makes me snub them for no real good reason!

That said, I'm suuuuuper close to pulling the trigger on a Stabila electronic level, they just look like a better design than the Sola electronic.

I have a few smaller Johnson’s so I’m always telling the help to stop playing around with his little Johnson. I’m the only one allowed to use the big Johnson’s.

 

Yeah Johnson does make some cheaper ones too. But I do also have an old box beam aluminum Johnson that still reads dead on, says manufactured in Austria on it. These orange Johnson’s are same price point as sola and Stabila so price really isn’t a factor. Well I guess it comes down to color. Red, yellow, or orange,? Joking. lol
